Each turn is called “a hand” and the hand is dealt by each player alternately. Every player gets two cards faced-down (in the hole), followed by a round of betting. First two players after the turn’s dealer are the “low and high blinds”, which means they have to gamble a minimum sum, so that a hand won’t end with no one betting. Play then proceeds clockwise with every player calls, raises or folds. The Blinds are free to raise or check when it’s their turn.
After all the initial bets have been called it’s time to deal “the Flop”, a set of three cards faced up. Another round of betting takes place, followed by a single dealt card called “the Turn”. Another round of betting followed by the last card dealt (called “the River”), and the round of bets afterwards is the last one. Between every deal (and before the Flop), the dealer “burns” one card without showing it.
The winner (if at least two players remained after the last round of betting) is determined by the one who has the best combination off their 7 cards in the order of the usual poker ladder. If the hand on the board is the best one, there’s a split, otherwise the winner takes it all.
There are 2,598,960 probable combinations in a poker hand that can be dealt. The numbers in brackets below suggest the possible hands in total and it’s percentage probability. The ranking next to a hand is the ladder-ranking of it:
1. Royal Flush (4; 0.000154%)

3. Four of a Kind (624; 0.0240%)
